These wall divide into three parties. Twenty-two men will j remain in the new harbour, and the | second and third parties on Scott Isi land, which is within the Antarctic ! Circle, and on Ross Island, forming the j gateway to Ross Sea. After landing I those parties, the Terra Nova will re- | turn to Wellington and load provisions > sufficient for four years. She will 5 leave Wellington in the summer of 1921 i and visit the throe parties. After that the Terra Nova will circumnavigate the Southern Continent, attempting to

reach Cape [name unstated], and in the winter of 1922 will proceed along the known coastlines. In the following summer the ship will attempt to visit Coates’ Land, where sho may be compelled to winter instead of at the South Shetlands, not attempting to cross Weddell Sea. Constant wireless communication will be maintained with the Falkland Islands.
