ARGENTINE SYMPATHETIC
SPEECH WHICH CAUSED SENSATION. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Sunday, G p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 27. Scnor Nanon (the Argentine Ambassador to the U.S.A.) has delivered a speech ■which caused a sensation. He said “The ship workers are contributing to the success of the great cause, of which the justice has always been recognised by my Government and my country. Although I am a diplomat, I express these sentiments, because vour success is our success, your welfare is our welfare, and your glory is our glory. ’’ The speech is regarded as being significant of the Argentine’s sympathy with the Allies.
