In view of the lull on the Somme, interest is concentrated on the Balkans, particularly the position in Bumania.
The latest Bucharest telegrams deny that Austrian monitors destroyed the pontoon bridge across the Danube, and state that the passage of troops, munitions and stores continues. The battle of Bobruja is increasing in violence, with -enormous enemy losses.
A Bussian communique says: — The Eusso-Eumanian offensive in the Dobrudja continues
