WANGANUI PRESBYTERY.

The above met in Marton on Tuesday. A call from Fordell to Eev. P. B. Fraser, M.A., was laid before the Presbytery, and also a telegram from Mr Fraser was read, in which the call was declined with respect. The report on the visitation to Turakina was read, and an appreciative resolution passed. Attention was called to the fact that a historic document In connection with Turakina charge running back 52 years in unbroken order was in Turakina. It was agreed to recommend that this book be deposited with the Church Treasurer in Wellington for safe keeping. A report on Ohakune was given, and a deliverance appointed to be read.

The next meeting of the Presbytery will be held in Marton on October 6th, at which representatives to the General Assembly are to be elected.
