By Electric Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, August 12. Sir Rupert Clarke, who has returned from his expedition up the Fly River, Papua, has verified Sir William MacGregor's charts. He was forced to abandon two boats and continued a further thirty miles on foot to Mount Donaldson where he planted a Union Jack. He managed to avoid hostile relations with natives although trouble threatened.
