STIMULATING PLANT GROWTH

Experiments on the residues of minerals wherefrom radium is extracted to ascertain the stimulating effect on plant growth are being made. "\\ heat and barley grow with great rapidity and they have produced radishes and carrots six times the size grown under ordinary conditions.
