A SEA OF FLAMES
CANADIAN FARMERS SUFFERING. By Electric Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. OTTAWA, May 28. News from St. John (New Brunswick) states that miles of forest fires arc threatening villages along the Canadian-Pacific railway. They are sweeping the country bare for a width of ten miles, and farmers' homes are being destroyed. There have been many escapes, but no loss of life is reported.
