RAILWAY FINANCES.
Press Association—By Telegraph. WELLINGTON, May 28. The railway revenue for the four weeks ended April 25 totalled £344,900, and the expenditure £19400(5, or 50.25 per cent. The North Island contributed £181,350 and tin; South Island £103,549 to the revenue while the expenditure was —North Island £110,11>3, South Island £83,810.
