POLICE COURT.
At Palmerston Police Court yesterday, before Messrs W. Beck an 1 Major Dunk, J's.P., Lydia Schultz was charged that on or about April 28 at Milson \s Line, Palmerston, she did murder her infant daughter. Mr Gilford Moore appeared on behalf of the accused. The Sub-Inspector asked for a remand until June 4. which was granted. A first offender for drunkenness was lined 5s in default 24 hours' imprisonment.
