WOOL SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report the receipt of the'following cable from their London office under date of the 22nd inst. "There was a full attendance at the opening of the sales to-day, competition by Home and Continental buyers being ?ctive, and prices as compared with the close of preceding series ruled firm for all sorts. The opening catalogues were representative.'' JOHNSONVILLE SALE. (Special to Times.) Wellington, Last Night. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows : A good entry of prime bullocks and medium sheep came forward and sold at late rates. Extra prime heavy bullocks, £l2 ss; prime heavy bullocks, £ll to £ll 7s 6d; lighter, £9 17s 6d to £lO 10s; vealers, 21s 6d to 295; light, wethers, 16s lOd to 17s 7d; small, light 16s Id. Prime ewes, 16s 4d; medium ewes, 14s 6d to lis; plain, 14s; prime woolly lambs, 14s 6d; prime shorn ; lambs, 13s 2d.
