LABOUR LEVIES.
" A TEST CASE. (Press Association.—By Telegraph. Reefton, Yesterday. There were interesting cases at the S. M. Court to-day when the Inangahua Miners' Union sued three members tor non-pavment of levies in connection with the Labour trouble. The facts were admitted. Defendants held that the levy was illegal, not having been made in accordance with the rules of the Union in that notices were not posted at all places where the members worked, though the members of the chief centres were notified.
Judgment was reserved for the hearing of legal argument.
