GREECE WANTS A PORT. ITALY OBJECTS. (Press Association.—By Telegraph. Rome, Yesterday. The Minister for Foreign Affairs (Marquis di San Guiliano) has announced that Italy and Austria have informed Greece that they will never consent to Yalona (the Adriatic seaport in the province of Berat, in Turkey in Asia) belonging to Greece.
PEACE AGENTS. Received 12.30 a.m. Constantinople, Yesterday. Nazami, Salik Pasha, and Reshid Pasha have been appointed peace plenipotentaries. REFUGEES AT SALONIKA. Constantinople, Dec. 9. At Salonika there are forty thousand refugees, most of them being without shelter. Dozens are dying daily from starvation and smallpox. STRAINED RELATIONS. AUSTRIA AND SERVIA. Belgrade, Dec. 8. There is anxiety in Belgrade over the Prizrend affair. It is stated that General Jankovich is very angry because M. Prochaska the Austrian Consul had not paid him a visit after the surrender of Prizrend. ADRIANOPLE'S LSAT FLIGHT. Constantinople, Dec. 8. The Yali of Adrianople reports that a general assault on the night of the 4th was repulsed after a fierce six hours' fight. BY NO MEANS BEATEN. Cett.inje, Dec. 9. Riza Bey ,in command at Scutari, refused to receive the Montenegrin messenger with Nazim's letters, announcing the armistice, dcelaring the letters were forged. He then opened fire all along the line.
