LEIDERTAFEL CONCERT.
OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT.
Eighth Gf oll iisolitar Abend of the Palmerston North Leidertafel will be held at the Opera House this evening. These concerts are always very popular with the inusio-loviujj public, and the booking for this' evening is as usual exoellent. The Leidertafel will.on this ocoasion be assisted by Miss Thelma Petersen, who created «uoh a favourable, impression at her recant concert here, and Mrs Hughes Johnson.. Miss Petersen's items to-night, will b& Liddles' "Abide With Me" and "Still wie die naoht" (Bolnn). Mis Johnson, whose harp bolos are always so keenly appreciaetd, will give two selections. The Leidertafel is programmed for seven part songs, all by well kuown oomposeis, and the programme will also include a piano solo, "Witches* Dance," a vocal quartette, "Picaninny Lullaby," by Messrs Leit, Havdon, Drew, and Scott, and Messrs Eric Gardner and G. Keeble will be heard in the dnet, "Tha Battle Eve" (Bonhe&r). Altogether the concert promises to be ono of the beßt given by the Society .and a good house is a'snred. '
