MANAWATU AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING.

T!:e annual meeting of the Mauawatu Amateur Athletic Olnb ma held ia the Supper room at tlie Opera. House last evening, Mr Harold Cooper presided. Apologies wire received from Messrs J. A. Nash, flr O'Brien, J. H. Watt, E. W. Seoker and J, ii, Yeruon. Tlie auuual report showed that the ulub had had a mrst successful season, athletically ■ and liuauciallj. Mr Oooper, in moving its adoption, congratulated the Olub on its position. Mr J. Mauuiuv, who seconded, hoped that - the membership would be incieased to such an extent that the Olnb wonld be quite self-snpporting, doing away with the canvas of trophies. The Olub was unfortunate enough to lose both their Wellington oentre delegates, Messrs B. A. Guise and J. H. Pollock, Thanks were passed to both.

The following officers were elected : —Patrou, J. A. Nash, re-elected; president, H. R. Oonper; vice-presl-dfnts, D. Bnick, M.P., Dr O'Brien, Robt. McNab, L, A. Abraham, 0. Lonisson, Dr Martin, Oapt. Stubbs, reelected ; hon. anditor, E. W. Seeker, re-elected; delegates ta Wellington centre, D. Leslie and A. 0. Kitto; hon. treasurer, A. E. Kerslake, : reelected ; hon. secretary, D. Park, reelected ; management oommittee, Mbesis Stubbs, Stalker, Moxon, Gray, Walkley, O'Connor, Hall, Pallisßr, Stagpoole. Mr J, Manning, iu moving a vote of thanks to Mr T. Stubbs, the Olub'a hon, liandieapper, spoke of the genersl satisfaction Mr Stubbs always gave to the competitors. The motion was oarried with acclamation.

Votes of thanks to the retiring officers aud to all who assisted in the past srasun aud to the Chairman terminated the pterin*.
