HAYWARD'S PICTURES.

"THE CIRCUS GIBL" TO- . NIGHT. Another of West's exclnsive aud expensive pictorial pourtravals in "The Circus Girl" will be presented in Palmerston to-night in connection: with the mid-week chauge of Hayward's Pictures. There are no kss than 58 distinot scenes in "The Circus Girl,*' a romance acted by Continental stats. The name part is played by Miss Asia Nieisou, of the Follies Bewares, Paris, who is one of the most fascinating ladies on the European stage. A woman of remarkable stage preseuoe and exceeding beauty, she has long been the idol of Parisian aud Berlin audiences. Possessed of singularly magnetic power, she invariably succeeds where many actresses of perhaps greater histrionic skill fail. The film, whioh is 3500 feet in length, is beautifully tinted, and will occupy the whole of the seoond half of the programme. Some idea of the seocess of "The Circes Girl' picture may be gathered from the faot that it has attiaoted bigger "houßes" everywhere than either "Our Navy" and "Army," whioh created fresh recordp. Among übw general subjects will be two diamatioa of exceptional power iu "A Case of High Treason" and "The Rose of Old St. Angnstine." The latter contains all the excitement and dash of the old days of ohivarly, iu scenes of daring exploits on land and sea, This film is distinguished by tine photography, and will keep attention on edge during an exciting period,
