PALMERSTON NORTH. CATTLE FAIR. Owing to the wet weather the contractors have baeu unable to finish the new yards at Boundary Road, and Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., will therefore hold their oattle fair on Wednesday nsyt, the Bth iust, in their yards, Raugitikei Street, Palmerstou North. Closo oa 3000 head of well bred oattle will be offered.

j HARRY PALMER AND 00. MARKET REPORT. Harry Palmer reports as follows: -As nsual following Show week there were very poor entries of pigs .and poultry. Good samples of table potatoes are sc-lliug well, but the end of old potatoes is very near, ami the next two or three weeks will find

the present stocks exhausted, We hope to place locally grown new potatoes on tin market within a fortnight. Potatoes that are not really firsfc-olass are rather a drag ou the market.
