The police found a letter in Trevascus's room signed "Fisher," and purporting to come from Emu Plains, stating that the writer would call at 9.30 on Monday night. Deoeased's neighbour, who was with him at that time, savs that a man called and seeing him deolined to oome in, saying "I forgot my bag, I will oall later." He did not come again that night. Trevasous was nervonsand pressed the neighbour to stay till a iate hour. The police ar,e unable to traoe Fisher at Emu Plains.
