We regret to record tbe death of Mr Richard Relf, whioii occnrred at his late resiiieece, Taonui street, yesterday, at the advanced age of 94 years. The late Mr Relf had resided in Palmerst'ju Nnith for over 30 years, aud leaves a grown up'family to muuru their less. Mr John Relf, ot Raugitifeei Liue, is a son of the deceassd. The funeral will leave Taonui street 'residence at 2.30 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday). Miss N. Green, of Longburn, secured seconrt place to Miss Mioa Ward, of Nelson, for pißiio solo(over 18), Rhapsodie Hongroisa, at the Wellington musical competitions. ' Mr Gordon MoMinn, well-known to local athletes, is now in Adelaide which he describes as "the prettiest Australian city 1 have yet baen in." Mr Norman Kirkcaldie, of Levin, was married to Misb Marjorie Kebell, second daughter of Mr J. Kebell, of To Ratiawu Olian, on Friday. The church was crowded and handsomely Jfleoorated. The bridegroom's brother was best man, and the bridesmaids were Miss A. Kebell and Miss N. Robinson. Rev. S. G. Oompton, M.A., conducted the seryice. The honeymoon is being spent at Rotorua.
