W. THOMPSON'S CAMPAIGN. Mr W. Thompson, Opposition candidatß for the Palmerston Noith electorate, addressed a large orowd of electors from a carrier's cart at the Sqnare corner, opposite the Olareudon Hotel, last evening, and received a very good hearing. In reply to a question he said lie favoured the tataliastor under existing conditions He nnnonnoed that lie would address the electors in the Mnnioipal Hall ou Thursday evening next. MR R. McNAB. Mr R. McNab will address the electors at Aokauterp at 8 o'clock this evening, pnd on Monday he will speak at Aslihurst.
