Mr W. F. Massey, leader of the Opposition, is suffering lrom a sprained ankle, and was foroud to cancel his engagements to deliver pnblio ttddiesses last night [and tonight. The Premier, Sir Joseph Ward, aud Hou. J. A. Millar, lett tir the South to-night. Sir Josaph speaks at Qore on Tuesday. Among the visitors to the Show yesterday were Mr Mcl'arlana, president, and Mr Walsh, secretary of the Pahiatna-Abitio A. and P. Association. Mr Walsh received promises of a large number of entries for the Wairarapa fixture. Mr Marcus,.tli? well-known Australian theatrical manager, is now in Palmerston making anangements for the visit of Hairy Rickard's Vaudeville Company.
