BRITISH AND COLONIAI, STUDENTS. ADDRESS BY SIR JOSEPH WARD (Press Association.-By Tolegraph.--Uopyright). London, .Yesterday. Sir Joseph Ward, at a meeting of British and Colonial technical students at the Festival of Empire, congratulated the organisation on having 160,000 students throughout the world. Ho would follow the example of tho Australian Postmaster and urge officials of the department to join the organisation. Tho Imperial Conference wor.ld bo glad to receive assistance in any movement similar . to this, in assisting the dissemination or Imperial ideas. While probably not agreeing with the details, ho hop. cd the leaders of tho organisation would impress on correspondents the all-important consideration to, view developments where countries like Britain have a world-wide Navy for tho protection of the various parts of tho Empire.
