j The winner ran seven times last season, winning four times and getting placed on two other ocoasions. Her first win was in the Woodcote Stakes at the Epsom Snmmer Meeting a year ago. The Exeter Stakes at Newmarket, the Rous Memorial at Goodwood, and the Hardwioke Stakes at Stockton were her other wins, Princesse de Galles was seoond in the One Thousand Guineas, won by Eleotra, and the good fortune of the King during the recent season would probably have made her a warm favourite. Electra was probably an absentee, otherwise judging from her biilliant performance in recent, races, she would probably have finished among the first three.
