QUESTION IN BRITISH PARLIAMENT. (Press Association.—By Telegraph.— Copyright). Received, March 3, at 9.50 p.m. London, Last Night. In tlia Hoase of Commons, Col. Seely (Under-Secretary for the Colonies), stated in reply to Major W. Anstruther-Gray, Conservative member for the St. Andrew Burghs, that lie had no report of an attempt by the natives to haul down the British flag in the Oooklslandß. The New Zealand Government, he added had ample power to deal with disturbances.
