THE ORATORIO.

To the Editor Manawatu Daily Times

Sir,—lf there should be anyone left in the district with any musical conceit about them who has not already joined the "Chorus" I trust they will delay no longer, because in our "Empire" gymnasium they will have full scope for all their genius, no matter of how high a character it may be. We are only on the threshold so far, yet have performed some wonderful musical gymnastic feats. If we are not fit to travel by the time we have mastered "Elijah" then be never shall be again. It is exhilarating in the highest degree, and onr master is all; that can be desired in ability and gentleness.—l am, etc., ORPHEUS.
