A BALLOON ASCENT.

Clemenceau, Premier, and General Roquart, Minister of War. ascended in the "LaPatrie" balloon over Pans. A pipe burst while aloft, slightly wilding M. Clemenceau. While repairs were being effected tne belloon remained stationary and M. Clemenceau was impressed with the sense of eeourity and stability experienced and said he considered the machine marvellous.
