A single man named Henry Osborne Glover, aged about 60 years, was fo"nd dead in an empty sample room. He was a draper by trade and lias been thirteen years in the employment of one firm here. His only relation known is a brother in Timaru.
Wellington, May 6
A. L. Eiby, a young man, committed suicide with a revolver at Barrett's Hotel this morning. He was cashier in the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company and was transferred here five or six months ago from Timaru where his father is manager of the flour mill. Deceased left hs office on Saturday afternoon and seemed normal then.
