Press Association —Copyright. Calcutta, Mayo. The Rawalpindi riots were the outcome of a bocyott of British goods. Public meetings of Hindus against the British have been held iu many towns, also rival meetings of respectable Hindus and Moslems, who dissociate themselves from the agitaion. .Received May 7,1.22 a.m. Calcuita, May 6. Five native barristers at Kawalpindi have been arrested on a charge of inciting a riot and with arson and seditious speeches. Bail was refused. The situation is being carefully watched and incitement to violence vigorously suppressed.
