Extraordinary Gate.
(Per Press Association.) At «, « Ti^bu, Last Night. At the Supreme Court j W o loans 0. Spwer, of Ashburtoa, were found guilty, with a recommendation to mercy on account of their youth, of stealing afresh into four half bales, carted it 30 miles to Geraldine, and sold it to a dealer. In a second case Judge Chapman directed the jury to acquit, the identification of the wool sold with that Stolen (a bale of merino) being inadequate. This wool is alleged by the Crown, to have been disposed of in the same manner. The wool was pus into nine sacks. A third case of the same kind has yet to be heard.
