SEPTIC TANK SCHEME.
Successful Tenderer.
Tenders for the construction of septic tanks and Stoddart filters in connection with the Borough sewage works were considered in committee at tho special meeting of the Borough Council last night.
The tenderers were :—J. Cooksley, Oroua Bridge, £6,816; J. Adams, Waipawa, £3,596 9s; Bobt. Lyon, junr., Terrace End, £4,317 2s sd; "L. Burke, Woodville, £3,460 Is 4d.
The last-named tender was accepted. The Borough Engineer's estimate for the work was £3,670 10s.
