Dr Borneo has decided to practice his profession in Palmerston. The doctor's offices are situated in the Colonial Buildings, Cuba Street, while his private residence is at the Boyal Hotel. A London correspondent writes:— Mrs W. L. Luxford (Dannevirke) arrived in London about the middle of November has now gone on to the Channel Islands. Her trip was undertaken mainly on account of business— namely, for the purpose of realising some property which she has inherited in Jersey. Mrs Luxford came by the Canadian-Pacific route,.and although it was not by any means the best time of gear to travel through Canada, she was able to appreciate the beauties of the journey.

Miss Nellie Bradey, youngest daughter of Mr F. Bradey, chairman of the Wellington Education Board, was married at Pahautanui yesterday morning to Mr Eobert Eoss, manager at Napier for Messrs Archibald Clark and Co. The marriage ceremony was performed by tho Eev. T. H. Sprott. The bride was attended by her sister Mary and her two nieces, Misses " Norry" and Elsie Bradey, Miss Olive Eawson, youngest daughter of Dr. Rawson, of Wellington, was married at St. Mary's Church, Karori, yesterday afternoon, by the Eev. A. L. Hansell, M.A., to Mr John Abbott, of the firm of Messrs Abbott, Orarn and Co. The marriage was a very quiet one, there being no guests and no bridesmaids. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Pyke. The bride was given away by her father.
