LYNCH THE TRAITOR.
Trial for High Treason.
(Preai Awopiation —ConyrJghi. London, Wednesday. Great interest is being taken in tbe trial of Colonel Arthur Lynch, M.P, for Galway, on the charge of high treason, which opened to-daj. The Court overruled the motion of Mr H. E. Avory, to quash the indictment on the ground that it disclosed no offence. Colonel Lynch pleaded not guilty, alleging that he was a naturalised citizen of the Trausyaal Republic.
