Produce—There is still a very keen demand for all kinds of produce. Seed potatoes are selling rapidly, realising from Lo 10s to as much as Ll4 per ton, good sound eating potatoes 8s 6d to 9s 6d per sack, pjg do. 3a 6d to 4s, onions (very scarce) 2d to 3d per lb, carrots 2s 6d to 3s sack, oats 2s to 2i 6d bushel, wheat 2s 9d to 3s 6d, seed peas 4s 6d to 6s 6d, bush»borse beans 3s 6d to Ss 9d, chaff L 2 10s to L 4, bacon and hams 3d to 6d, pumpkins 3s 6d sack, all other lines big prices.

Poultry-For all classes there is good demand and remarkable "prices are brought in some instances. "Cockereb 3s to 4s per pair, hens 83 3d to 4s 6d, ducks 3s 9d to 4s 6d, geese 3s, 3s 6d each.

Pigs—We can place several lines of wellbred weaners aod stores at wry good prices.

Sales—Our Saturday sale consisted mostly of nursery stock, boots, poultry, etc., and was a great success, the number of lots put through in the space of time constituting a record—somes thing like 700 lots. We have numerous applications for small larms and house property which is a good healthy sign. It will be a boon to farmers and others to know that a good season is predicted.
