At the Builders' Cotif^rence a resolution was passed approving of the couditious of contract in use at the four centres, and advising other associations to ndopt them ; also recommending associations to have a condition inserted in contracts stipu-' lating that compensation be paid tbe lowest tenderer in case the work was not gone on with.
The question of contractor's liens on work contracted for was referred to a committee for a report.
