RAM FAIR.
The ram fair, which ended yesterday was a great success, and prices were considerably in excess of those obtained m previous years. At yesterday's sale bere was a keen demand for Eomneys the principal buyers being Messrs Acheson.Gray.Liffito., ConJr, Mama if °% i ? lcJS sri ?e./ and H. Paul. Mr I). Bracks Hcclc sheep brought the/ Invest prices, 74 fi s being paid for one' of his rams by Mr Ptddie. The prices for Shropshire Downs ranged from Bg. to 4gs, the leading buyers oe-ig Messrs A. G. Williams cud Mackintosh.
For Border-Leicesters the bidding was spirited among -.he buyers be'ng the Juon. W. Johnston, Messrs Eyman, D Leid, and Morrison prices ranging frcm tO O^g:?, There was also a keen demand for The principal buyers ?i En R Us& Leisters were Messrs C. A. Leicester, L G. Lttmer, H. Chad wick, and Hon. W. Johnston. Prices- ranged from 4to / gs, and (here was a keen demand for Messrs black Bros, and and Mr S R' I-aucaster's sheco. "
