CHRISTMAS FOURS TOURNEY. The Christmas fours tournament of the Manawatu Bowline; Centre was commenced today at the Hokowhitu, Northern, and Manawatu greens. Heavy rain had dampened the playing areas which wore heavy. There are three sections and games • are of 25 ends each. . Mr J. K. Baton (president of the centre) opened proceedings at the Manawatu green, Mr G. Corhridge (vice-president) spoke at Northern, and Mr A. Gardner at Hokowhitu.
