HIMATANGI SALE
The New Zealand Loan and Blercantilo Agency Coy., Ltd., report on their Himatangi sale : There was the usual good yarding of fat cows and heifers, comprised mainly of good quality stock, and competition was very keen, prices holding firm with late rates. Dairy cows and heifers were in short supply and here also competition was keen, realisations being more than 'satisfactory. A small yarding of yearling heifers elicited good competition, late rates being fully maintained. Quotations: Fat cows, £6 10s to £lO 2s 6d; fat heifers, £8 to £lO ss; store cows, £3 15s to £8 10s; boner cows, £2 to £3 10s; dairy cows, £9 10s to £ll 10s; dairy bull, £5 to £7 15s; potters, £3 2s 6d to £lO 10s; ylg heifers, £6 10s to £8 10s; wnr pigs, £1 6s to £1 10s; store pigs, £1 19s.
