Y.W.C.A. GAIETY CLUB
The general meeting of the Y.W.C.A. Gaiety Club was held in the Central Clnb rooms. There was a good attendance of young people, and the following officers were elected: President, Mr J. Bowater; vice-president, Mr .T. Board; secretary, Miss N. Cooley; committee members. Misses‘S. Biggins, G. Moxon and M. Nealon, Messrs M. Allen, M. Bennison anil P. Kilpatrick. The future programme was discussed and suggestions included musicales, picture parties, table tennis, dances, socials, hikes, cycle rides, skating, tennis, swimming and ski parties. It was evident that this new venture would develop intb a popular and worthwhile club for the young people.
