CARRIERS IN SYDNEY HARBOUR (Rec. 12.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 24. Crowds lined Sydney’s foreshores earlv today to watch the arrival of ■units of the British Fleet which recently took part in the final assault on Japan. It was Sydney’s first chance during the war ol giving a fitting welcome to a naval task force fresh from battle.
