NEW YORK, Aug. 23. The Tokio radio says the atomic bombs killed 90,000 .Japanese and injured 180.000. The radio added that 170,000 were killed and 412,000 injured by other bombs. No fewer than 9,000,000 people were rendered homeless, 2 > houses were demolished and JO.UUO were damaged. “Almost the entire Japanese mainland was heavily damaged by enemy air attacks,” it said.
