SERVICE ANALYSIS.

ARMY AND AIR FORCE

WELLINGTON, Aug. 24. An analysis of the casualties in tlio New Zealand Expeditionary i'orce and in the Royal New Zealand Air Force is given in the annual repoita of the General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces (Lieutenant-Gen-eral E. Puttick) and the Chief ot the Air Staff (Air Vice-Marshal L. M. Isitt)', respectively, which were presented in the House of Representatives yesterday. The Army casualties from the outbreak of war to May 31 last total 33,013, and the overseas casualties in the Air * orce to March 31 of this year total 3998. Aircraft accidents in New Zealand up to the same date accounted for 260 deaths, motor and other non-flying accidents were responsible for 46 deaths, and 73 died from natural causes, a total of 384 deaths in New Zealand since the outbreak of war.
