BOY SCOUTS

A large and representative gathering of Scouters was hold at the Coronation Hall -when all local groups were represented and visitors wer-o present from Foxton, Feilding and Levin. Also present was Mrt Goo, of Napier, formally District Cubmaster for Palmerston North. The organising of the gathering was in tho hands of. tho District Commissioner (Air J. Hornblow). Tho discussions were opened by prayers led by Aliss N. Wilson (Dominion Commissioner for Wolf Cubs), Air J. 11. Alcwett (County Commissioner), and Mr T. L. Soddon (District Commissioner for Feilding). It was decided to hold the rally as usual on Labour Day, and Scoutmasters and Cubmasters then separated and discussed details. Community singing and games formed the highlights before a Scout tea was enjoyed. In tho evening an informal dance was held, Air W. Collins being tho Af.C. A conjuring demonstration was given by Mr L. Callis.
