HOCKEY
The Manawatu Hockey Association, at a meeting, at which Mr J. D. McDonald presided,' decided to hold a men's seven-a-sido tourney on Angus! 25. lhe following Saturday, the semifinal of the championship. United v. Varsity, will be played. Representative games have been arranged with Wanganui at Wanganui on September 8 and two Wellington teams (one under 21 years) at Palmerston North on September 15.
