SCHOOLS TOURNEY
Results of yesterday's play in the schools Ru>'by tournament at New Plymouth wore:—Taranaki 7 v. Manawatu 4; Rangitikei 3 v. Wanganui 3. For Manawatu, Carlton kicked n goal. Taranaki ««> cured a field goal and a penalty. The Taranaki forwards were able to gam possession and gave their backs plenty of the ball. The standard of play by all the teams was excellent and the weather was perfect. The point; new are: Taranaki 4, Wanganui 2, Manawatu 1, Rangitikei 1-
