Firing ceased on the Sakhalin front at noon yesterday, when Japanese envoys approached the Russians under a white flag. The Red fiVrmy, while the Japanese are carrying out the surrender terms, is advancing to take over the southern part of the island. It also expects to re-enter Port Arthur soon.
