ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

A world-wide organisation working for tho benefit of humanity _ and whose war activities are numerous is the St. John Ambulance Association. Like other associations it depends for its funds on public subscriptions. extensive war activities include the meeting of drafts of returned sick and wounded or repatriated personnel and distributing comforts, and its War Purposes Committee co-operates in the packing and forwarding of prisoners of war food parcels. Thcso many sons and husbands overseas in the Armed Forces or in prisonors-of-war camps owe much for their comfort and help to this organisation. Residents can assist by gonorouslv subscribing on the street day. Donations of goods and produce will be gratefully accepted.
