DEPORTEES NOT TRACED

LONDON. Aug. 6. Fewer.than 50,000 of 400,000 nonJews known to have been deported to Germany have been traced and repatriated. These are distinct from the displaced persons and were sent to Germany from France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Norway. This information is contained in the report of tlie “displaced persons executive” which says that deportees who lived to bo repatriated were in such bad physical condition that most of them had to be brought home in hospital trains and special convoys.
