(Ree. 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 6. An aeroplane fire-fighting detector service will be part of a vast Russian reafforestation scheme to replace the forests which the Germans cut down or burned, says the Moscow radio. Special planes will patrol the forests. Fifty thousand crowded the White City to see Haegg and Andersson running for the first time in Britain. Both the visitors won, the latter in the mile after a terrific duel with Wooderson and the former in the two-milo.
