LIGHTING AT MILSON

The Electricity Controller (Mr F. T. Kissel), in a letter received by the Kairanga County Council yesterday, said that he had received a letter from tho secretary of the Milson Progressive Association regarding the installation of tin additional street light, granted by the council, between the corner of Boundary Road, Milsoli's Lino and the foot of the overhead bridge. The Minister of Public Works had advised the association' that the necessary dispensation from the provisions of the Electricity Control Order would bo granted subject to certain conditions beinjr fulfilled. Abetter had been sent to the Manawatu-Oro'ua Power Board regarding the conditions. So 'long as tho units consumed were not greater than was laid down in the order, lie was strictly not concerned at additional street lights being installed, added the Controller.
