SURRENDER IN PRAGUE PATRIOT ' ANNOUNCEMENT (N.Z. Press Association.—Copyright.) (Hoc. 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 8. The Prague radio says the Germans in Prague and the whole of Bohemia have accepted the terms of unconditional surrender.

The Germans accepted the surrender at 1.30 a.m. today when the commander ordered all units to cease fire. The Gorman military representative is at present negotiating with the Czech National Council on details of how to carry out the unconditional surrender.

The radio added that the Germans had technical difficulties in immediately ordering cease fire to all the troops and asked Germans and Czechs to inform German units wherever necessary. , All tho Prague radio stations have been in Czech hands since early this morning, reports Reuter's correspondent. Broadcasts indicate that some of the German military formations have not yet obeyed the order to cease fire. Several parts of Prague arc burning fiercely and firemen are helpless to approach the fires while the pockets of Germans are still holding out. Another report says that the Russians have captured Dresden. Members of the S.S. throughout the siege of Breslau shot • every German wlio tried to surrender or break out to the Russian lines, says the Moscow newspaper Izvestia. Ten thousand soldiers and civilians perished. The German commander after the fall of Berlin gave the men threedays' rations, gathered his tanks and attempted to break through southwestward to Czechoslovakia. The Germans were mown down by tho Russians and the. garrison capitulated by radio unconditionally on Tuesday morning. Red Army doctors arc now tending 8000 German wounded iound lying in cellars in the capital.
