Mr A. G. Lawson, of Langston Avenue, who has been ill, has recovered sufficiently to enable him to travel to Alastcrton, where ho is convalescing with his son, Air J. Lawson. The friends of Second-Lieutenant R. AI. Gillespie, of Palmerston North, who was recently wounded for the third time, will he pleased to learn that he has now recovered. Advice has also bcjr.ii received that he has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lieutenant Gillespie, before the war. was prominent in Rugby football circles in the city.
